Lisa Flood MVB(Hons) GPCertSAS, GPCertDI PgCertSAS, GPAdvCert(SAOS) MRCVS
Veterinary Director and Advanced Practitioner.
Hi, I’m Lisa. I graduated with Honours from the University College Dublin in 2007. Since then I have achieved the GP and PG Certificates in Small Animal Surgery, a GP Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging and a GP Advanced Certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics. I am also an Advanced Practitioner in Surgery – this status is awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to those who demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience in a specific area of expertise.
I have a particular interest in neurosurgery, alongside my interests in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. I especially enjoy the challenges involved in the diagnosis and surgical management of spinal and neurological disease, and am committed to providing patients with the most appropriate advanced surgical care.
In 2026 I made the decision to move back to Ireland and open East Coast Vets. I’m thrilled to be able to offer advanced veterinary services to our local community.

Ciara Worwood BSc RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Hi, I’m Ciara and I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2023.
Since qualifying, I have gained a broad range of experience, working in first opinion practices, as well as veterinary hospitals in both Ireland and Western Australia.
These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong foundation in patient care and nursing of medical cases, whilst working within dedicated and supportive teams.
I have a strong passion for patient care and medical nursing, and I am dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, while building trusting relationships with both patients and their owners. I take great satisfaction in supporting clients through this stressful time and helping ensure their pets receive the individual attention and compassionate support they need during treatment and recovery.
